It is really a lovely sound and very responsive. Totally lives up to Curry's description of it.
It does not make the trumpet sound like a flugelhorn. Silly thought that people sometimes wish for. But it does make the trumpet sound just how it should for its intended purpose, a soft and densely melodious wonder. _________________ Richard

Curry TC and TF mouthpieces are the Bomb.
i also use a curry FL (flugel) mouthpiece with a trumpet adapter.
There are lots of guys using them in classical settings as well.
pure magic, i start my daily routine on a TC everyday, ( Bill Adam based) then migrate to my other curry's as needed depending on what i want to play that day. Hi, Low, whatever, Give them a try, its like syrup on pancakes !!

I agree; I have both, but I don't know that I would do a big band lead on these......never tried that. _________________ Claudio |

Mr. Curry sprinkles magic on them and then sells them for a very affordable price. I've just spent the morning playing euphonium using a Curry mouthpiece. Good stuff comes out of that shop. _________________ Richard
