Out of curiosity, I'm looking for info on the Keilwerth "The New King" trumpet". I'm presuming it falls somewhere between a conventional Keilwerth horn and their Keilwerth De-Luxe model, a clone of the King Super 20. Details on Keilwerth trumpets are few and far between with almost nothing on "The New King".
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response. Been to brasspedia and other extant info sources, but can find nothing to differentiate between a Toneking and "The New King". Brasspedia lists them as separate models, but nothing beyond that. Perhaps "The New King" was just a marketing exercise with no substantive difference between the 2.

„There are a few examples of a The New King trumpet (with early serial numbers: 0048 and 1468 or without and one - in black and gold - with a late 60's serial number). These have quite a different engravings, the one flowerish, the other straight. They seem to be the quite similar to the early Toneking instruments and until now are only reported from UK, Australia and Norway.“
This is mentioned on the site. Ist seems that „The New King“ and the early „Toneking“ are the same models…

There’s a very good looking Keiwerth available in the Marketplace now.
