I'm going to give you an incomplete answer. I really like his exercises, but I don't use his monkey-lips embouchure. For that, I use the Balanced Embouchure approach.

I find Maggio-type exercises to be useful, and Claude Gordon's "refinement" of them even more so.

A great Method Book to have. I added two notes to my range over the course of a summer in 1977. I don't utilize the embouchure that is presented in the book ... same embouchure as Walt Johnson's Double C in Ten Minutes.
