Does anyone know the difference between the older one piece rounded outer bowl Giardinelli mpcs from the more modern one pieces. History? Years made? How close to the originals? Thx |

I believe Greg Black has all of the old Giardinelli cutting tools. He showed them to me when I was at his shop a couple of years ago. He might also be able to help with this type of information.

Does he offer Giardinelli mouthpieces made from these tools?
Any relation to his New York mouthpieces? _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

I did not ask when I was there…I’m sure he’d respond to a request from his site. _________________ Best Regards,

I have a custom piece made with a Giardinelli blank with my rim and backbore.
I think I still have the original 6s and 6vm somewhere...
The New York pieces are based on an original Jet-Tone design and use his standard blank.
I've seen him make many custom blanks so that's up to you. |
