I have a few MK tuning slides and I have to say they can really make a difference in how a horn plays and how it sounds. I'd encourage you to get the Vindabonna slide, but I hate shipping horns across the country for any reason. Tough decision there. Shipping most often goes well today, but one can never tell until afterward. |
It would just go back to Bach for the slide, but I'm not sure I want to be without the horn. I think I have played my Kings maybe twice since I got my Bach. I'd also be pretty devastated if something happened to this horn as it's a one of a kind horn. I can't just go to the store and buy another one.
