|
|
Looking for a source for a Yamaha 8335R Xeno in lacquer. Reverse leadpipe, lacquer and gen II. I have seen a couple ads that show the model and many are available in silver plate 8335RS. Does it still exist and where can I find one?
Thanks in advance,
Jim |

they stopped making the model you are looking for. They only offer the standard 8335 and 8345 6335, 6345 is silver and lacquered. _________________ Current horns

This one of the ads (above ) that I found...but went you go to check out they say "sorry Charlie" we can't ship to your country. It's a little frustrating knowing the horn exists but I can't seem to get it if I live in a certain place...and yes I understand marketing and import laws.
Thanks!

I think the 8330EM may be the only lacquer reverse leadpipe premium Yamaha. I think the Miyashiro is a much different instrument though. I believe it's a multi bore, with a larger bore for the valve piping to have an even blow with the valves depressed.
I have a 8335IIRS and love it, but I don't mind the silver plate. Totally understand getting what you want out of a premium price instrument. |

Thomann has the exact horn I am looking for, a 8335RG - generation II lacquer, reverse leadpipe, goldbrass bell. Available for immediate shipping-but not outside the EU. So it exists, but not for me right now. |

Transfer me the $$$$ and I will take care that you recieve this very Yamaha.
But why bother? Buy a https://www.getzen.com/trumpets/custom-series/3050-trumpet/, order it with a gold brass bell ànd reverse lead pipe and you have the same kinda trumpet, even a better one _________________ Technology alone is a poor substitute for experience. (Richard Sachs) |

Thanks for the offer, but I think I have found one I can get locally.
Again, thanks,
