I checked the Olds site: http://rouses.net/trumpet/olds.htm

but couldn't find anything on the Recording.

It blows as freely as my Schilke S22, so I was just wondering if it is considered to be a L bore horn.

I think they are 0.460".

If I keep up my current addiction, I'll have more than one to measure for you just in case <grin>.

Yes, .460, see here on Alan's site to confirm:

http://rouses.net/trumpet/olds70/olds1970opera-recording.htm
and
http://rouses.net/trumpet/olds77/recordtp.htm

The only Large bore products were the Opera and the Custom L.
