In the past I've owned a PocketMax and a Carol Brass pocket trumpet. Both decent players. They served their purpose, and when I no longer needed them, they were sold.
Now I need one again and this time I bought a Midtown Brass pocket trumpet from J. Landress Brass. I've gotta say, it plays a step above the others I've played. Before they send them out, the shop does a play test and a precision valve alignment. At $475 it's a helluva deal!

I was told by Kessler that they are no longer offering the pocket trumpet. The increase in prices from Carol Brass and more buyers opting for a cheaper import made Kessler decide to end them. _________________ BrassHistory.net
