Lately I’ve really been enjoying Clifford Brown’s album with Max Roach, Sarah Vaughn’s Lullby of Birdland, Sonny Rollins St Thomas, and Miles Davis’ Blue Haze album. Was wondering if anyone could provide some recommendations. Much appreciated. |

Clifford's "Compact Jazz" is brilliant. _________________ "I'm an engineer, which means I think I know a whole bunch of stuff I really don't."

Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, particularly those albums featuring Horace Silver on piano and Kenny Dorham on trumpet. For that matter, any Horace Silver album from the 50's or 60's. _________________ "He that plays the King shall be welcome . . . " (Hamlet Act II, Scene 2, Line 1416)
