Bossa, Once SC is going well then here is the best thing I know of to make the tongue work harder: slow, solid staccato with a real pop. For example, do EF Goldman #8, "Trumpet Style" at a slow tempo and articulate each note with real solid pop. Arbans p.341 (C. Fisher ed) Var II of Carnival of Venus is also excellent. Again, do slowly with lots of pop. Once this starts to go well then add in slow, solid double tonguing. Best regards, Kyle |
