For anybody that uses a Flic button for iPad page turns or other purposes while playing, I am interested if you attach it to your horn, and if so how.

I found some clip on mounts for Trombone on Etsy, but nothing that looks like it would work on trumpets.

Thanks

I can attach my Flic to my valve guard thanks to the clip provided and use it with my IPAD and forScore
It works but the turn of page is a little too slow for me.Little faster with a pedal.
I assume it is because you need first to activate and transit through the Flic app.
The pedal is directly connected to forScore.
The difference in speed is not that big but noticeable.
If the speed of Flic improve, it can be a good solution.
(I don’t know how it works with another OS, may be it is faster).

Thanks. I use my iPad for ForScore and iGigBook. I have a pedal, but it’s sometimes awkward to look down, locate and get my foot positioned while trying to read charts with tough page turns.

I have never used valve guards, but that sounds like a potential solution. I was trying to come up with something like a soft plastic or rubber snap clip on the second valve casing that can easily be moved from one horn to another, but I may try a valve guard in the meantime. Thanks again.
