Seen to many opinions on how to determine when the trumpet was made if the serial number is 914XXX for the CONN52 BPS guestimate when the horn was made. Please positive responses only....This I believe was manufactured by UMI

I don't remember seeing this model of the Connstellation until the 90's.
I think it is now out of production but a version of it still available "new" online.
Does your serial number have a 2 number prefix such as 49 914XXX?
If it does, add 50 to the prefex to get the year. |

NO prefix before the 914 number I did read about adding 50 to the pre-fix number...this does not have a pre fix number |

Eastlake, OH 2000
845371 (Conn 1BS 34 )
Apparently a Conn Vintage One from 2000 has serial 845371
So maybe 2001 or 2002? |
