There is non.

I asked Mathez about it along time ago. No plans then.

Now, it is his son Jeremy, that is running the (BIM) business, so maybe he will be willing to have it translated.

Ask Jeremy you (and then I will do the same).

Question OJ - I'm trying to find a complete list of Arban's solos. I was hoping on the outside chance that there might be one in the biography but haven't actually seen the book. Have you seen the book ? Is there anything like that in it ? Anybody know of a list somewhere of all the Arban solos ??

Thanks in advance

Seth

No, I have not seen a complete list.

I have some addition to the solos in Arbans Method:

I have not read it (I' only know a little French)

Have sent an email to Jeremy at BIM asking if they intend to make the Arban Biography into English.

Will let you know, when (or if) I get a reply.

Maybe there is hope for an english version. I got this from Jeremy:
Quote:
Dear Ole,

The translations (english and german) have been under process for a long time.
The project stayed still because the book is not selling good enough to make a supplementary investment.
Good that you asked, I will see if we can do something and let you know.

Best Wishes,
Jeremy

Does anyone know of an English language Arban biography? Even a dissertation on his life and works would be very interesting. I suppose I should also learn French. I couldn't find much in the ITG archives either.
