Hello fellow trumpetplayers and ericmpena especially!
This is my first post on trumpetherald altough I have some 34 years of trumpetplaying behind me.
I really appreciate your insights on Thane trumpets and I have a great interest for a performance C especially.
I can't find a phone number for Thane trumpets anywhere and I would really like to call him and ask more before placing an order.
Would any of you guys know how to reach him by phone?
You could also pm the number for me if it is not prudent to put phone numbers on forums?

I’d highly recommend emailing him. He usually responds to emails in the morning (around 10am central time).

You can try including your phone number. I’ve personally never talked with him on the phone, but I’ve had zero issues with email communication.

I’ll second this, Logan is very good with email. And I’m sure he’d be willing to have a call with you - arrange the time of the call through email.

I am happy to share my limited experience play-testing the Thane C or my experience of owning/playing a Thane Bb for 21 months…PM if I can help.

I forgot to post this video in this thread. I could’ve spent a little more time trying to get it cleaner, but it came out okay for a quick little project.

New short video.

I’m still loving the horn. It is a little more challenging to play long phrases like in this video, but that’s to be expected with a large bell horn.

I also have a Thane Performance 37 bell and it is easier to play, but the sound is also smaller and less expressive.

Both horns have a purpose, but I usually find myself reaching for my large bell Thane.
