Does anyone know of a smaller shop that isn't 5 to 6 months out that does quality work that can strip and relacquer a horn within a few months? All the the big known shops. Landress, Melk etc are months or a year out. THanks

Orlando's Music Shop
1220 Santa Anita Ave., Ste. A
South El Monte, CA 91733
They polished and re-lacquered my WT about 6-months ago. Their work is okay, but not great. Turnaround was about a month. They're not cheap either.
I'd probably use them again, but only because they're local. However, if you're shipping your horn regardless, I'd probably use one of the operations you mentioned and use a back-up horn in the interim. _________________ Bill Blackwell

Borodi's Music did my LA Olds Ambassador. very nice job. Dents removed buffed and relacquered. Quick turnaround time. Reasonable price too. |
