Has anyone played one?
If so, what did you think of it?

I have it! It plays reasonably in-tune with my other C trumpet. It is a fun instrument, but probably is really only suited to solo playing or church-type accompaniment. Because it's a pocket trumpet, it won't project like a typical C.

I've just been online looking at this C Pocket trumpet in the UK.
When I last looked in August the shop only had one in stock at £578. They still have just one in stock and I bet it's the same one that I looked at in August except the price has increased by a staggering £54 to £632.
This seems a totally unjustified price increase and, on the face of it, appears to be simple price gouging.

PS -- Austin Custom Brass are selling the same model (albeit at a discounted price) for $578 (about £466)!

Why would a price increase on newly acquired stock in a time of high inflation be considered price gouging?

If it truly was newly acquired stock I wouldn't have a problem with a price increase but I strongly suspect this is the same trumpet that was on sale in August at a far lower price. i.e. old stock.
