Probably an easy question to answer, but this never happened to me before and I would appreciate advice. During a concert last night, the inlay* on my flugelhorn finger button popped out.
What do you recommend to affix it? Superglue? Gorilla Glue? Something else? One drop, or thinly coat the whole surface?
Thanks.
*it’s a pretty Brazilian agate for my Kanstul flugel; I think I got it years ago from B.A.C. It took a few minutes to find it on a similarly-colored floor! _________________ Matt Finley https://mattfinley.bandcamp.com/releases

Over here in The Netherlands we have a glue called BizonKit, it is a so called contact glue.
Degrease all surfaces, applay the glue on both sides, let it dry (!) for 15 minutes and than press the parts together, keep it pressed together, use high pressure for at least one hour. Use a clamb for this
That will do
It's the same kinda glue shoe repairmen use when they renew the sole of your shoe, it smells like tolueen and has a yellow-ish look _________________ Technology alone is a poor substitute for experience. (Richard Sachs) |

Why not drop an email to Charlie Melk, Rich Ita, Mark Metzler, etc. and ask what they recommend? _________________ "He that plays the King shall be welcome . . . " (Hamlet Act II, Scene 2, Line 1416)
