|
|
Yesterday I got a mouthpiece with a trumpet I bought, quite an odd one as the rim thickness varies... It's a Selmer Paris mouthpiece called:
2
MA
C
As it is such an oddity with the rim, I can't help thinking that MA might stand for a certain player with special demands. Anyone here who knows anything?

I have one of these also, dont remember how I got it, I was told it was designed as a high register mouthpiece with the thick side to allow more pressure on the lower lip. MA = Maurice Andre
One day I will try it.
Regards, Stuart. |

I would not call it a lead mouthpiece. It's fairly deep and has a nice, soft tone. It's actually really nice to play! |
