Are there any software products available that permit one to keyboard notes onto the staff, then save, and print out for practice purposes? I have seen composing software but that is probably way more than I need. Any tips? |

Transcribe! is the best transcription software that I know of. It will give you a midi file with keyboard roll of any song you import, but it won't write out music for you. If you're looking to play notes on a keyboard and have it written out for you, most composing software (Musescore, Finale, Sibelius) will allow you to do that if you can connect your keyboard with a Midi cable to your computer. |
