The forum gave me great suggestions for music for prelude and postlude for solo trumpet. I'm hoping now for another assist, since I'm playing with a very good violinist. At the moment, we have no organist.
Yesterday we did movements 1 and 2 of the Haydn Trumpet Concerto in Eb. I condensed the length, and we basically swapped the solo parts, with the other playing the most important counter line. Worked great.
The preludes and postludes we play should be between one and two minutes long, and I remove repeats. I like it when I can do two movements of the same piece as we did with the Haydn. It's very easy for me to take a score in Music XML and prepare the appropriate reduction and parts.

These might require some reworking, but I've often thought they might work well for two trumpets and organ. I realize you said you don't have an organ at the moment, but for what they're worth, here are a couple:
Laudamus Te from the Vivaldi Gloria in D. With a pair of C trumpets, you could play this directly from the vocal parts:

First, I requested ideas; I did not post to provide them.
Second, I think I was gracious in thanking everyone who responded.
Third, if you are looking for a long list of what I chose to use, it isn't going to happen. I played one service alone so far, and one as a duet with the violin. But since you asked, here is what I played, after doing some surgery:
SOLO
Prelude - The Rondeau, from Suite de Symphonies, first movement by Jean-Joseph Mouret (1682-1738)
(This is the Theme from PBS Masterpiece Theater)
Postlude - Alla Hornpipe, from Water Music by George Frideric Handel (1685-1759)
DUET
