I can't believe anyone's shocked at ad agencies stretching the truth, if they use any at all. Remember T.V. ads with doctors endorsing cigarettes?

When I returned from Germany, I was shocked with how fast and loose advertisements played with the truth. Just a very commonplace example is, it's common practice to say this or that is "number one in the world". When I lived in Germany, you couldn't use a phrase like that unless you could actually and conclusively prove it.

We live in a (IMHO disgustingly) VERY materialistic society where making a fast buck often trumps everything else - particularly truth.

Perhaps, if there was any indication that it is true.

Anyone seeking work as a model would have an internet presence. I see nothing after a brief search.

Not saying that the claim made here isn’t true. I just prefer more proof.

If you watch the video in the link provided by TrumpetMD, at 3 seconds in, the phrase "Actor Portrayal" (in very small letters) appears at the bottom center of the screen.

That's proof enough for me. (Of course, the word of someone who knows the person first-hand is also pretty good proof -- it'd stand up in court.)
