Hi all,
I am digging back into my Claude Gordon materials, as I have recently been using the Goldman Daily Embouchure Studies (which are funny enough a lot like Systematic Approach), and have some questions.
I am wondering when to include the Systematic Approach and Daily Trumpet Routines in my day (along with all of the other things I'm working on). For me personally, starting the day with the SA seems like a lot, but it's not very different from how Goldman prescribes his routine. Perhaps the DTR are more reasonable to start the day with?
Also, another question regarding SA; I noticed that Claude mentions a Pedal Routine before Lesson One. If I were to use SA first thing, would it be best to start the day with pedal tones as he talks about and then continue to the lesson, or would it be better to start directly with Lesson Two as I have read elsewhere?
Thanks in advance for your insights! |
