Have any of you found that the native iPad’s autocorrect has gotten noticeably worse in the last month or so?
I’m finding that it is often getting the wrong word lately. I typically don’t notice until I proofread my text which is annoying. It seems to be happening a handful of times daily to me.
Since my typing/input hasn’t changed Apple must have made a change the algorithm, in my opinion.
As a retired software engineer I understand how difficult it is to retain a consistent user experience when significant changes are made to the algorithm. If I were assigned to investigate I would look at code changes related to the contextual part of the algorithm. |

I've not noticed a change, though I've learned the hard way to proof stuff thoroughly before committing it to the interwebs |

I don't use auto correct, I have it turned off on all of my devices. I find it annoying, even when it does guess the correct word. _________________ Larry Woods

I thinks it's time I disable auto correct. _________________ Sub-Optimal Hillbilly Jazz |
