Pickett British

Anyone out there have experience with the Pickett British cornet mouthpieces? I have heard they are quite good. I saw on here some info regarding Shires/Pickett cornet mouthpieces, but not quite interested in that route. I do remember seeing some older info on here but I do have some specific questions.

Pickett looks like a great compromise of a Wick no letter cup shape that is smaller/slightly shallower but is not a Wick B cup. (When I look on mouthpiece comparator). Would this be a fair statement? What is the play ability like on these? I will be using it to sit front row in a BBB.

Has anyone out there compared the Standard vs Medium Shallow versions? Or might recommend one based on your experience.

Yes, they are quite good, especially if the rim contour works well for you (it works for lots of folks, but no rim is ideal for all players).

In front row I like the MS cup best, mostly because it helps get through the second half of the show better. If back row, the M cup. IMHO the MS cup sounds better than the Wick B cup.
