Some I can think of:
Courtois Evolution (any)- Chevy 3500 Silverado dualie
Bach- any Ford (both can be lemons at times)
Lawler- Caddilac
Wild Thing- Lincoln sedan
Olds Ambassador- old VW Beetle
Monette- Hummer (both grossly overpriced)
Schilke- Pontiac Grand Am
Yamaha- Honda (both common yet reliable)
Taylor- Harley Davidson (overpriced toy you don't need, but still fun)
...I'll think of others _________________ Trumpet: Bach 180LR, 72 bell

I disagree with Schilke being a Mercedes. Schilkes are incredibly well made, light and free blowing. Mercedes are also incredibly well made but are heavy and boring, not at all a drivers car - not like a Schilke at all in character. I have driven a lot of Mercedes and they are very good cars but they are boring in comparison to many other cars. Schilke trumpets lie on the"exciting" end of the trumpet line. I have driven a lot of cars and a Mercedes does not do the Schilke justice. At first I though a Lotus would be better - as they are lightweight and incredibly responsive. They are however not well made and are sometimes unreliable - very unschilkeish. What we need is a car like a Lotus but that is reliable and very well made. The only two cars I think of are the honda s2000, very well made - very responsive (revs to 9000rpm) and light, or a Porsche which is much sportier and responsive than a Mercedes but as well made. Much more like a Schilke. Interestingly the Noble, which someone has already mentioned, would fot the Schilke perfectly. It is well made, light and incredibly responsive. However, they are incredibly rare and Schilkes are not! Any thoughts? By the way I agree entirely with Taylor Trumpets being Morgans... |

If the Kanstul Custom Class horns are likened to BMW 3-series, I guess that makes my 15XX horns like BMW's M3. I dig that.
