I just came across Dana Heitman's (of Cherry Poppin' Daddy's) Lawler trumpet for sale at
http://www.usadpost.com/us/musical_instruments/374/_lawler_usa_25lr_professional_trumpet_for_sale_london_jefferson_alabama/

I wonder why he is selling it?

Dana is a good friend of mine. I have played this Lawler and it is a great horn. He is selling it because it is his back up horn, and he wants to get something else. He also uses a Bach 43LR.

Those do not sound very similar, Mikey (Lawler 25 and Bach 43LR).

I did not say they sounded similar. They sound very different. Dana just
prefers his Bach.

Sorry. I didn't mean that they sounded similar to the ear, only that they were not very much alike. Didn't make myself very clear there, did I?

Yes, it was on EBay, but it did not get high enough.

Trust me; this is a great horn. If I had the $$ I would buy it myself.

Given the street prices for Lawlers, it sounds like a great price to me.
