No reply from him at all. Someone else should give it a try; I'd be interested to see if he responds. _________________ Allen - 'Chops-in-Hotlanta'

I just emailed the seller asking for the serial#. We'll see what happens. _________________ Philip Satterthwaite

Ask him if he will take PayPal. Say something like "I have a lot of money in my PayPal account". Then ask him what his return policy is.
That will tell you quite a bit.

A Schilke in raw brass? That's how you know it's a fraud. Schilke's are only made with silver or gold plating. No Schilke owner would have their horn stripped of its plating. |

I would say that a telephone call is in order. I also might suggest that if you call and also go see the trumpet, it probably is legit. Do they make wise guy smiley faces? Do Schilke trumpets really only come in silver or gold plate?

Do people actually just blindly send folks like this a money order? I just can't bring myself to do that.
I think that those who say they don’t want to use PayPal because of the fees are probably loosing out on higher bidders because people are unwilling to bid without PayPal; the additional money the seller would receive would more than cover the fees I’d bet. _________________ Allen - 'Chops-in-Hotlanta'
