I just got this stuff to clean my fridge, stove, and microwave, which are all stainless steel and i wanted to know if it would be a good idea to clean the outside of my silver trumpet with it. it says it contains mineral oil and mineral spirits. It says on the bottle...."For quick and easy polishing of stainless steel surfaces." "Removes dirt and grease" Helps prevent fingerprints. "Restores the bright shine for a bold, clean look" What to ya'll think?

NO!!!

Use a real silver cleaner .. the best I've used is 3M Tarnishield.

Don't use one that feels gritty at all, the 'wash and rinse' pads may also be OK.

But be very careful!
