Anybody know anything about these trumpets? The dual bore .460/.464? I can't seem to dig a whole lot up on these trumpets yet they are claimed to be (or was) Getzen's top of the line trumpet. Thanks.

It was my understanding that the Renaissance line was originally the Canadian Brass line, back when Getzen was making instruments for that group. The Renaissance line was considered to be professional level.
Getzen has since discontinued the Renaissance line. They no longer provide information for those instruments on their website. However, one can email the company's secretary for information. They are pretty good at replying to inquiries about their instruments, both current and past. |

i played the Bb & the C at a display a few years ago. they felt a little 'tight' for what i wanted,...but the price was excellent & they seemed to be really good horns.
i was seriously considering one, but went schilke instead.
