I've been searching for a horn that's a little easier to play than my standard 25/37/ML. Would this be a good horn for lead and jazz playing? I don't need a huge sound, since my main gig is in a 7 piece dance band. I'm looking for something efficient and focused. I'm also looking foward to the release of the Xeno Shew, and I am also considering the kanstul mariachi. Thanks for your comments.

I have a Bach 38M and it is a fantastic horn.IT has all the punch you need and plays so smooth and warm. I have 2 37ML and they can't compare. The 38 is a great jazz horn. One of the Strads that are over looked because of the medium bore. By the way they donot play at all stuffy even above the staff like many 37's |

Thanks for your opinion gustav. Does anyone else out there have any experience with this configuration? I'd like to hear about some of the drawbacks of playing this type of horn.
Thanks |
