So, there are Star models and Monopole models. I've seen Couesnon's with "Star" engraved on the bell...can I assume that if it doesn't say "Star" on the bell that it's a Monopole?

And still trying to figure out what an "N" stamped on the 2nd valve casing means...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Junkyt

Of course, Jim Donaldson at Dallas Music is the person to ask, but I wouldn't leap to any conclusions. My Monopole does say "Monopole" on the bell. Is there a third possibility?
