I was playing after practice Wednesday night and was play scales up to high F and high G. Those notes were new found territory for me. I felt a twinge in a my upper lip followed by numbness. Tried playing today after taking a couple of days off and my chops felt very vague. I wasn't precise at all. I suspect I've torn some muscle. Any advice? Any idea how long it will take to heal?

Just a note to say I took a few days off and I'm fine. Big lesson learned though.
