With the rolls it looks a little like the trumpet version of a player piano. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that before.

It looks to me like some kind of "music box" made to look like a trumpet.
The usual mechanism, like those embedded in a jewelry box, is spring wound
and has a rotating metal drum that strikes or plucks a metal comb (one-ended
xylophone bars). This one has a paper mechanism. I don't know anything about
antique music boxes ... maybe someone else can chime in?
Looking at the conical kink where the bell was soldered, I don't think this
is a playable instrument in the usual sense of buzzing your lips to make a
sound.

Guys,
I think it's an antique toilet paper roller-upper....with genuine antique toilet paper!
