I have no idea what the knucklehead is trying to sell in that long ad of his. I'm thinking it doesn't belong in the Bb MarketPlace.
I would appreciate your cooperation in its removal.
(My apologies ahead of time for those of you it offends - this was the result of replies to this individual's pestering emails ... I see why he sent me the offensive emails now).

There are times where I wish this board had emotioncons.I feel the need to insert one of those eyes rolling emotioncons after reading that.
Good to know the watchlist is working.Looks like he is fixing to become unluckygalsue.
bawhahahahaha
Funny thing is he didnt even spell my name right and the "Reason"I started the watchgroup in the first place was a place for people to vent about Bad ebay transactions. If this clown could read he would see that I started it about my GEtzen Fiasco.
The "sexual harassment" that this clown is talking about was some light hearted humor between Lori and myself on a previous thread.
Guess what? There was no harm,no foul and no autopsy performed after that thread.
I call this place my home on the web now.Just a great place to hang out in,cut up from time to time and unwind after a long day of work.
I love you all.
Take care guys and don't let this clown get to you.

No,I suggest if anyone wants to kill themselves, just open up a group over on Yahoo and call it EBAYwatchlist, its enough to put any man over the edge.
All jokes aside, the ebaywatchgroup has its moments. Now if we can just get rid of the trolls it will be a much happier, productive place.

hello don,
Thanks for looking into it.I am sure Todd will do the right thing when he finds time.
This guy seems to have found a weak spot in your system here.Might be a good thing to talk to Todd about allowing you guys to have some authority to close advertisements over there.
Let me know if you guys ever need any help.I would be glad to give being a moderator a shot. |

Just to set the record straight....I am the "female who was being harrassed," according to the gentleman with the garbage mouth. I NEVER considered myself to be harrassed, folded, spindled or mutilated, etc.
Ed and I have become buds on this forum and were just teasing back and forth. Maybe this is a case of consensual harrassment?! I've played in trumpet sections with you boys for 30+ years....I think I know the difference between verbal abuse and shooting the s***.
I sincerely hope someone in charge of the marketplace does some house cleaning in that folder.....the place is "filthy" right now.
Regards to all....especially YOU, ED!
Lori....unscathed and unharrassed...pfhht! |

Follow up:::::
If you look in the market place today,it seems our "buddy" has been to the ebaywatchlist.
The links that were provided on the ebaywatchlist apparently worked because EBay has closed those auctions down for fraud.
Keep up the good work guys and keep the pressure on the bad ebay sellers. |

Done,
I will have to have my attorney call your attorney and get you to sign a wavier first ,then we will have to ask the judge if we can still do dinner while I am under a restraining order to stay 100 ft away from you.
That ,or we can just get a big ole long table.
Bawhwhahahahahaha
Take care |

TH should ban anyone that is abusing the Marketplace. |

They only seem interested in Bb trumpets though - how peculiar.
I think I find myself in agreement with the masses here - restricted access for posting in the Marketplace may be necessary. How about along the lines of "must be a signed up member and have been signed up for long than, say, a fortnight." This might help with the possibility of people signing up under a new name, in order to post the unhelpful ads? |

When I do a search over in the market place I just click on "all" instead of picking a category.
That way if there is a bargain in a mouthpiece or a Flugel,I will see it. |

Think Todd should take a look at the DO NOT BID SCAM postings put up in Bb section today (6th May). Seller refered to seems to have good feedback and it's interesting to press the view other posts button. Suspect someone's been spoofed

Another idea about posting ads might be to have all of the ads sent as a private message to a certain address and then reviewed before being posted.
Let only a certain few people who review the ads post the ads with no access to posting ads directly by the sellers.
I think a handful of the members here could do this without putting any extra work on the moderators.
If an ad gets rejected then an appeal could be made to a moderator or the person in charge of the marketplace.
Any objections to a certain ad could be made with a private message if one slips through that is a scam or has something else wrong with it.
Also the ads should be limited to one a week by each person or some other number deemed appropriate.
Any other thoughts about this out there?
Constructive thoughts would be welcome.
Just a thought
