Those of you in the DFW area may know David. He used to be a partner with John Butler at Butler Band Instrument Repair. He recently took over the Butler shop in Carrollton and is attempting to make it into a "pro shop" with high end instrument sales and repair. I was there today and played several GR and Reeves mouthpieces as well as Stomvi and Marcinkiewicz trumpets. He's a nice guy and a good repair technician with some pretty nice equipment to offer DFW area trumpeters. |

Is that a venture with http://www.airstreammusic.com ? I think those horns and GR mpcs are Airstream's, but I don't really know the details. Is the Airstream name up anywhere in the store, or is that just an internet presence?

Dave, I don't know if there is an Airstream connection.
Mike, John is at Brook Mays doing instrument repair. |
