I was recently able to visit the Schilke Factory in Melrose Park (Chicago) Illinois and had a wonderful time. Their show room is emaculate and I was able to play every horn that I desired and a couple of gold plated. I have decided on purchasing an S-42 in GOLD with Ingram Tuning Slide as soon as I can come up with the cold hard cash. The S Series are dynamite horns. Phil Baughman was a gracious host and showed me a drawer full of "famous mouthpieces" in the process of trying to find a Faddis Mouthpiece. Stop by there if you are ever in the area. They will be at the ITG in Denver. |

Good choice, I love my S22. The craftsmanship is wonderful, and sound is fantastic and I really love the additional weight of the S series horns. _________________ Allen - 'Chops-in-Hotlanta'
