I have a schilke underpart with some markings that I do not know. It is a schilke 1 S and under that, right where the cup starts to bend down, it has the letter S which is also immediatly above the throat marking (22). This is a deep mouthpiece so I know that it does not mean shallow. Also the backbore is a 75 if anyone can tell me anything about that. Thanks.

Why don't you email Schilke? I'm sure they can answer your question. _________________ Schilke B1L / GRe65M/e65S

The Schilke Mouthpiece Catalog at http://www.schilkemusic.com says that the 16D2 used to be called the "S" model. I've also heard talk of a Schilke Symphony line of mouthpieces. You could possibly be looking at one of them. But as reccomened before, I'd e-mail Schilke themselves. |
