I was just curious if anyone here had any insights to the Lake Placid Trumpet Seminar. Has anyone ever been? What are your likes and dislikes?
Thanks. |

Never been but always wanted to - and still do. They always seem to have some heavies on their faculty but the price is too steep for me. Let me know if you get there, Halfnote. |

LP is one of the greatest seminars around. Not only because of the faculty, but because it attracts some really great European students who play at a really advanced level in just about every genre at once. It really gives people a wonderful opportunity to tap into what is out there. |

Lake Placid is awesome. The faculty and staff are the as good as it gets. If you attend, you will get saturated with trumpet 16 hours a day for two weeks. The seminar gives you every oppurtunity to succeed.
Goodluck,

If can go, do it. You'd be very hard-pressed to find a better learning experience.
