Morrison Digital Trumpet now shipping

At long last, the Morrison Digital Trumpet has hit the shelves.

Patchman music is selling them at $2,495, discounted at $1995 at the moment. At that price I'll have to pass - maybe I can scape enough pennies together to get the new Yamaha EZ-TP digital trumpet.

I just wrote out a check for one and should receive it in about a week. I'll post on it when I have a chance to learn/play it.

The videos are good on the site... Still sounds pretty electronic sounding... (not bad considering it is an electronic trumpet...)

Any one played the Yamaha version before?

The Yamaha trumpet is a toy compared to the MDT. I mean, you hum into it like a kazoo. Patchman has proclaimed the MDT as the Rolles Royce of wind controllers, and I agree.

I got my MDT from Steve Marshall 2 months ago and can say without a doubt that it does everything extremely well, is comfortable and adjustable, and with its lcd screen it is programable by the user, try that with the Yamaha one.
