Hey everybody,
A few years ago...ok, many, many years ago I used to catch Clark Terry on occasion and he had a fantastic leather gig bag. It was hand made by somebody I think in Texas. It had a round like shape and loaded from the end section. I had a private student way back then who bought one (I've lost track of this kid long ago). Anybody know about these? Are they still available?

Larry, I'm sorry that I don't know who made it but...I KNOW THAT BAG!!! I too, was wondering whether it was still available and how sturdy it was. I hope there are some "hits" to your post!

No, Johnathan, this was loooong before the Torpedo. Same basic principle, but hand made and leather.

I never saw Clark Terry play, but the torpedo case reminds me of wiseman cases:
