|

I'm looking at this cornet on ebay, and I can't figure it out. Any help?
Looks to me like it's either assembled incorrectly, or does not have all the correct slides. I'm not familiar with this model.
Any help?
Here's the link (I hope):

(By the way, how else can I paste a link here that you can "click" on?)

How did you paste this one? It worked.
As for the horn, it does look like it is missing some tubing. I've had a lot of Kings in my career but I am not familiar with this model. I personally would stay away from it. _________________ Philip Satterthwaite

Glad the "paste" worked!
I think I'll stay away as well. Looks like a tuning slide that doesn't match the horn, I think. Like I said, don't really know.
Thanks. _________________ '78 Bb Bach Strad 180-37

"Q: From the pictures, it appears that tuning slide does NOT mate with the horn's tubing. It appears there's a piece MISSING from horn, maybe 2 or 3 inch...more answered on: Dec-30-04
A: hi miles thanks for the interest. your assumption is correct. the description also indicates a piece is missing. good luck bidding .. oldspike"

Looks to me like it is missing the bottom tuning slide receiver. Actually, that is an easy fix.
