I just took the link to the Shulman site, and was really intrigued by the system.
It sure has top notch recomendations, but I was wondering if any players here have personal experience with it. Is it worth the price? Does it do all it's said to?
Thanks |

I tried it at the 2002 IAJE and I liked it (for about 10-15 minutes).... I never did get around to buying one but maybe this year! Matt Shulman is a great trumpet player and he has a great invention..... Try it for yourself and arrive at your own conclusion...

A great thing about the Shulman system is that because it supports the weight of the instrument, it can open up trumpet playing to people with disabilities who otherwise would not be able to play the trumpet. Yay, more trumpeters! _________________ Danelle Wilbraham |

Thanks for the replies people, and you're perfectly right cjdjazztpt - always, always go by feel, and whether something works for you; but it was nice to have a first hand, non-affiliated account. |
