Ask Brett. you can PM him from any post by "Getzen"

It could be because the Getzen 3850 custom is a great cornet and there is no need for an Edwards model

Edwards seems to have discontinued all their small brasswinds except for Bb & C trumpets. A few years back, I could have sworn seeing their early webpage describe a cornet, soprano cornet, high trumpets in E, Eb & D, and even a flügelhorn! Maybe they will slowly reintroduce the other models in the future.

Actually, there was just a shift in focus to the Bb and C trumpets. There wasn't really much movement at all in the line so when Christan took over the trumpet side of things he put the focus back on the Bb's and C's to get them straightened out before branching out more. Why spread yourself too thin? I know they are working on new things. What exactly I don't know for sure, but keep your eyes open.
