And as the horn gets older, will it need silicone slide grease to keep them firm?

I just hope the price isn't too padded. If I could afford it, it sounds like it would be a sheer delight.

Note to moderators: We need a smilie with a drum set, to play the "Ba-dum CRASH!" It would especially help with some of the jokes here!

Do the bottom valve caps have those old-fashioned nipples on them?

Here's a motto for this horn: Tone Bra or Bust!

Really, a guy asks a serious question and this is how mature adults react?

Rabidkat, I got mine right off the rack. It was a little stuffy up top, but responded very well to double-tonguing.

OK, this is getting worse.

You guys are turning into just a bunch hooters.
Getzen makes fine horns and I feel confident they ain't never turned out any honkers.

If you can't be serious about trumpet playing go join a jug band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I've heard that the partials on this horn tend to be top-heavy, I hear it compares well when stacked against the competition.

Here's another slogan suggestion: Me and my tone bra, what a pair!

You know, this thread is giving me a great idea for a new ad campaign. A 3895 flugel in the hands of a buxom, well endowed blonde. Ahh, now I just need to open auditions for the model. Work, work, work.
