I have a very old New York Bach Strad cornet.
It's pretty much dent-free and it plays, but it's leaky and smells like an old brass instrument. I have absolutely no idea what it may be worth. Anybody know? |

I am not an expert but I think it is worth a lot of money.
If it were mine I would give it a bath and put some thick grease on the slides.
Then see how it plays. I think that there are no dents is the important thing. |

I have seen NY Bach cornet go for as little as $750. For some reason people aren't as apt to buy the cornets as they are trumpets. _________________ Kevin |
