This stuff is just amazing.
Nothing is faster, or lasts as long.
Give it a try.

Mr. Hollywood, You are right-on! I purchased one bottle to check it out and reordered a 12-pack. It performs as advertised... FAST and LONG-LASTING (they ALL say that, but Warburton delivered.). On my old flugel horn that had some valve piston "issues" (that's Californian for problems), it restored them to original fast condition. |

They make it right at the Warburton factory.
So far Roger Ingram and Brian McDonald (Lead trumpt Air Men of Note) are endorsing it. Also, I'm using it and loving it.

Man, Terry and crew (there were only 4 when I visited a year or so ago) crankin' out mouthpieces, building a line of horns, and of course there's Terry building small airplanes in his spare time. And now products involving a bit of chemistry. The guy is a wonder.

Mr. Hollywood,
Weren't you involved in the development of this product??
I'm thinking of ordering some myself, and giving it a whirl!

Yes, you are correct.
I have been making oil for my own personal use for more than 13 years, and this stuff was just so fast.........Anyway Ken Titmus and I are close friends so I sent him some just for the heck of it to see if he thought it was as good as I did. Ken called me the next day and was raving about it. He said that this stuff just "lights up your valves".
I've been a full time working pro for 25 years, and this is the best oil I have ever used. I gave a bottle to Roger Ingram while we worked together for a week with Frank Sinatra Jr. Roger was so taken with PDQ that he wound up endorsing it. Brian McDonald (lead trumpet Air Men of Note) also loves it.

Perhaps your initial post was a little disingenious?
It sounded like an unsolicited endorsement rather than an advertisement.
Good luck in your endeavor, my understanding is that others have gotten their start in a similar way. Al Cass for instance. |

Warburton owns the rights to the formula. I have nothing to do with sales, or distribution, nor do I profit from any sales at this point.
Seeing as I stand to gain nothing from the sale of this oil I don't feel my endorsement of PDQ is out of line. I would be lying if I told you it wouldn't make me proud to see it do well, but I make my living playing the trumpet, not selling oil.
I know that some stores are carrying it, but I'm sure Warburton always has plenty on hand.

I agree the PDQ Warburtin Oil is great. Best of all The last time I purchased a Warburton MP they gave me a bottle free! Even though I paid $150.00 for the MP. _________________ Bach Strad 37/25

how does this oil compare to hybrid pro-oil or even Blue Juice which I use. I was using holton valve oil then switched to B J which I really like. _________________ Bach Strad 180S37

Good question!!!!
I was a die hard life long Holton oil fan. My original intent was to make an oil that was just like the old "Holton Electric" oil. As far as Blue Juice goes, I thought it worked great for a week or two, then I started seeing this gummy milky white like deposits in the ports of my pistons.
I think PDQ is actually faster than Holton, and it will not leave any unwanted deposits on your valves (like BJ). One thing that I have going for me as the inventor is that I am the longest user of PDQ. I made the original batch almost a year ago and my valves are pristine, they actually look cleaner and shine more than they did a year ago, honest.

Hi Chris,
I think I know the answer . . . but what does P. D. Q. stand for?
I believe the FIRST word is "Pretty" . . . and the LAST word is "Quick!"
But what about that MIDDLE word?
Sincererly,
Tom Turner
PS: Dang it . . . you've just motivated me to get a few bottles! I love Terry's products. Thanks for the "heads up!" |

I have been using Hetman's light oil for about 2 years - how does it compare to PDQ? When I was a kid we put PDQ in our milk(haha). old geezer Dave _________________ L.A. Benge 2ML 16389

HA,HA,HA....
I remember "PDQ" in my milk too!!! It was little tiny chocolate chips that dissolved in the milk to make chocolate milk. But I never thought of myself as an "old geezer" (I'm 42)
Hetman is a synthetic oil, and PDQ (the oil, not the milk additive!!!) is not.
Just so you fellas know, I had nothing to do with naming it "PDQ". I asked Warburton not to use my name, or any part of my name on the bottle. Like I said before I'm a trumpet player, not a valve oil salesmen.
BTW- Please don't put any PDQ (oil that is) in your milk!

Chris,
Thanks for the tip. I will be ordering some. I have been using Pro Oil Hybrid for years, but am always looking for something better.
On another note: What happened to the new Bb trumpet Warburton was come out with? I remember seeing a pic on their web site a few months ago, then it was gone............

I've been using PDQ oil since last December and it is all that they say. It is the fastest oil I have ever used and surprisingly long lasting with no build up. Thanks for bringing this to the market, KT! _________________ Dave Wisner

Thanks Chris for the response. So now what do I do, when I ordered my B Juice from WWBW I went with the bulk and got 11 bottles for 30 bucks. Figuring I would be set for awhile. Do I sell them on ebay and put the money I make toward PDQ or do I stick with my B Juice?? ( This question is meant with some humor ) So far I have not got the gummy white build up you mentioned. I gave a bottle to my neice for her horn and she really likes it (Former Bach oil user). I guess what I am asking is PDQ really the S$%T. Because if it is I will get rid of the Juice and get the PDQ, pretty damn quick!! LOL . _________________ Bach Strad 180S37
