I'm sure you've heard by now, but Phil Collins announced his retierment from teh Cincinnati Symphony. He had been having chop problems and has decided to leave the symphony. I think he is going to continue to teach at CCM. Doug Lindsay has been acting principal as far as I know.

Thanks Eric. I need to go through and do a good scrub on all of these lists (not just the CSO) and bring them up to date. Most of them are at least two years old at this point, and there have been MANY changes in those two years.

I have it on my list of things to do!

Since this is a post about the Cincinatti Symphony on a trumpet forum it reminded that Hakan Hardenberger is playing with the Cincinatti Symphony in the semi-near future. This has nothing to do with this post but it did jog my memory so I will post it here for anyone who might be near Cincinatti (Like me ) and be interested in the concert. Check it out here:
