Now that spring training is upon us, baseball is about to start. We all know who is going to win the AL...go Sox... but my question to you all is who you think is going to win the NL. _________________ Kevin |

I don't realy like the NL, but if I had to guess who wins the NL, I would say the cardinals, or the padres, but I like the cardinals more so I will say the cardinals. And you are wrong, the Sox arn't going to win the AL. The Twins are _________________ Bubba Ho-Tep is an awsome movie. You must see it at once! |

Atlanta should have a good starting rotation with John Smoltz going back to a starter role. They also picked up Dan Kolb from the Brewers, so they have a good closer also. _________________ J. Fowler

The NL is definately the better of the two leagues. While I have been a Red Sox fan my whole life, I spent my formative years in San Diego, so I grew up with National League ball. DH's are the worst idea since the Yugo. _________________ Kevin |

Bigbadwolf, IT'S GOING TO TAKE THE "RED SUCKS" 86 MORE YEARS TO WIN AGAIN. The yankees are going to do it again, this is our year. The mets are going to go far this year too. _________________ ***If you don't try there's a 100% chance you'll fail*** |

Well.... I wouldn't hold my breath... the Yankees have the most world series titles... but they're the only team in the history of the game to have the opponent down 3 games to none.. and then not be able to finish them off and end up losing 4 straight. I don't think Steinbrenner's money can buy heart and determination. _________________ J. Fowler

Which would you rather be, the team with 26 rings or beating the team with 26 rings? It doesn't matter how the Yankees lost, 4-3 is not worse then a sweep. And sweeps happen all the time, so are you saying u rather get sweep then lose from 3 games back?
ALL OF YOU CAN HATE THE YANKEES ALL YOU WANT...BUT YOU SECRETLY WISH YOUR TEAM WILL BE MORE LIKE THEM.
I can't believe you said Yankees aren't determine. George is not the richest owner in the MLB. But he is determine to win NO MATTER WHAT. No other owner does what he does because they don't care as much as he does. A lot of people don't know, but teams actually lose money by winning, that's why some teams would rather lose and get money. like the clippers.
To valvemaster. If that's your excuse for the Yankees winning at will, then you don't know much about baseball. How many teams with a lot of money Went home empty? The Yankees weren't always rich. Once upon a time they won without a huge pay roll or without buying a lot of free agents. _________________ ***If you don't try there's a 100% chance you'll fail*** |

First of all... Yankees SUCK!!! Jeter Sucks!!! Now that I got that out of my system; the spankees are the most overrated team in the history of sports. $164M payroll??? Ridiculous. Going out and getting a 41 year old pitcher isn't going to help them. Good thing they picked up Tino Martinez this year, maybe he'll be better than Mr. Steroid Giambi. What did he hit, like .260 with 20 homers last year. Yeah, that's a corner infielder I want. _________________ Kevin |

Braves win the NL East again and manage to get to the World Series, only to be beaten down by Boston in 5 games. Oh well, at least my favorite NL team will be beaten by my favorite AL team. (I live in Atlanta, but most of my family on my dad's side is from New England; and until inter-league play, it did not matter that I was a baseball polygamist). |
