I just tried some of this "Fruit 2 o" stuff... mm... fruity and water... no calories.. I think I could deal with water again now... specially water that does not have a rust tinge to it...mech _________________ Alas, Ai Dygress... |

I used to drink eight cans of Coke a day, I especially loved it back when it had beet sugar in it, instead of corn syrup, which was the whole reason for the big "New Coke" deal.... Now I have diabetes..... So, I switched to Diet Mountain Dew, and now I have high blood pressure from all of the stinking sodium in my diet and the caffiene, so I switched to caffiene free Diet Mountain Dew, but my teeth are still going to hell from the acid. I wish I was as strong as my sister, she quit soda all together when she got her teeth whitened... jbqd |

I don't think you can get this everywhere (NC, SC, GA and maybe VA):
CHEERWINE
Best soft drink I've ever had!

I really drink just plain old water about 90% of the time. But my favorite soda has to be Moxy.
Peace,

I quit soda altogether a little while back. One day I just sat down and calculated the yearly calories I was accumulating based off an average week of consumption for me(I was downing that 64 oz gas station thirstbusters and getting them refilled quite frequently), and what I found was that I had an extra 25-30 pounds of pure unadulterated fat per year from my soda habit. After quitting, with NO other changes in my otherwise indulgent diet, I have already lost 17 pounds and feel great. I even sleep better because the caffeine was hurting my quality of sleep. I even found that some foods tasted sweeter because I didn't have the perpetual aftertaste of refined sugar in my mouth anymore hah. This might seem a little dramatic, I sound like I’ve quit smoking or drugs or something, but for me it was pretty amazing. Try it for a month if you don't believe me, I guarantee you'll feel better too. |

Any cola is only acceptable for medical reasons. Under tropical conditions and with a deteriorated digestion it can be helpful. But it is horrible. How can you drink such a sweet stuff?
Water, tea (no sugar), coffee, beer, wine, that's it. No chemicals, only natural stuff. And yes, in Germany beer is made without any additives, only water, malt, hops and yeast. That is health food!

Water
Fresh Fruit Juice

yuck.... moxie?! Man, you either love it or hate it. I for one, hate the stuff. But wait, you are in New Mexico... how do you get moxie? are you originally from new england, or have some friends/relatives up here? _________________ "All music is folk music. Yeah I have noticed that love or hate thing with Moxie, not a lot of grey there. One of my best friends is from PA and Maine, originaly.
Peace,

have you ever had moxie with milk? like... cream soda moxie kind of thing. It is a littel more bearable that way... but still nasty. _________________ "All music is folk music. I ain't never heard no horse sing no song." - Louis Armstrong |

I don't drink soft drinks anymore, so my vote is for tea (Rooibos). Coke is great if you're hungover, though. |

Orange juice!
Nothing like it, but of course, you probably don't want to get it into your horn. If I have none around, then I drink water though I'm kinda craving for a coke right now... |

Cant go wrong with a soda that had cocaine in it until they realized why it was addictive..

Indeed.
I think they knew it was addictive though, but were forced to stop using it. So they switched to caffeine, which is also addictive, provided you drink enough of it. They wouldn't stop selling something just because it was addictive. Just look at those cigarette companies. |

Ah, wonder what the original cokes were like heh.
I can see the campaigning for it
