Roy is also archaic French. It may have also become anglicized, but it's originally French. As with Toy instead of Toi.

I am looking at a 1st edition (1673) Moliere's Le Malade Imaginaire at this very moment. It does, in fact, say roy in it.

I have no doubts that he's guilty, but they can't much prove it in court...

Hopefully, all this mess will be enough to scare him away from ever doing anything involving kids again! I hope he has pictures of him from back in the day in his house. Maybe he'll look at one and realize what a freakin' loser he's become.

If nothing else good comes from this... at least we have some more jokes to tell while the singer is deciding what key to sing Girl From Impanema in.... sorry... bad night... involving a bad female vocalist. (I didn't even attempt to play the melody up a Major 3rd)
